The hotel was nicely decorated and 1st class, and the staff were knowledgeable, loved the magnificent location very close to bars and restaurants, Prince's Garden, Waverley train station, bus station and main shopping street and the train station and Princes Street. I had the suite which was comfortable quiet and brand-new with large bathroom including tub. Great value, and the services were very good.
